We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong proficiency in CAD tools and a solid background in prototyping, GD&T, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating mechanical components and assemblies from concept through production.

What You'll Do

Design 3D and 2D models of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and Fusion 360.

Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and dimensional accuracy.

Collaborate with electrical, firmware, and industrial design teams for integrated product development.

Develop and execute prototyping, tolerance stack-up, and DFM/DFS (Design for Serviceability) reviews.

Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to optimize part cost, material selection, and production methods.

Conduct design validation testing and iterative improvements based on feedback.

Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and documentation for production.

Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts on existing designs.
Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2–5 years of relevant industry experience (product design, manufacturing, or mechanical systems).

Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD tools.

Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards.

Experience with prototype fabrication, CNC machining, 3D printing, and sheet metal/plastic part design.

Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or thermal/mechanical simulations.

Hands-on experience in rapid prototyping, jigs & fixtures design, or testing setups.

Knowledge of tolerance analysis tools or PLM/PDM systems
